Reverse Osmosis plant Installation – Migori County
Migori County has been actively enhancing its water supply infrastructure, including the adoption of reverse osmosis (RO) technology, to address water scarcity and improve access to clean drinking water.

rueseals East Africa Limited has introduced a three-in-one reverse osmosis machine in Migori Town. This system purifies up to 500 liters of water per hour and functions as both a water vending machine and a water ATM. Customers can purchase purified water or refill their bottles at affordable rates, significantly improving access to safe drinking water for the community.
Activities Involved in the RO Machine Installation
Site Assessment and Planning Evaluation of the water source and existing plumbing infrastructure. Determination of the appropriate RO system capacity based on the school population.
Installation and Setup Physical installation of the machine in a designated area. Plumbing and electrical work to connect the system to the water supply and power source.
Water Quality Testing Collection of water samples before and after purification for laboratory analysis. Ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
Ongoing Monitoring and Maintenance Setting up a routine maintenance schedule to replace filters and check the system’s performance. Regular documentation of system efficiency and water usage.
Training and Sensitization Educating staff and students on the use and benefits of the RO system. Training maintenance personnel on operation and basic troubleshooting.
Procurement of Equipment Sourcing a suitable RO machine and necessary accessories like pre-filters, storage tanks, and pumps.
